Material, usually of plant or animal origin, that contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals, and is ingested and assimilated by an organism to produce energy, stimulate growth, and maintain life.
We at EL Green-Go’s feel there is so much more to the definition of food. FOOD is a feeling an emotion developed by the meal made from it. FOODs foundation helps develop these emotions and feelings. A great meal has the ability to reallocate the way we think, to illicit a presence through our emotions. FOOD can make us feel happy, excited, passionate, sad, angry, even let down. FOOD is an essential part of life that doesn’t have to be something we use to sustain life but direct it. FOOD also helps create life or the lack of, destroy it. FOOD makes us who we are, the right nutrients the right amount of proteins, these things are directly related to our daily activities. These activities tend to define us as individuals. Whether you’re eating before a big day at work, or preparing for a long day at school. Maybe your next meal is going to be what gets you through a hard work out, maybe repair you after one. FOOD always becomes part of the daily equation for success - without it we will fail. Unfortunately more often than not, most of us get caught up in eating food that slows us down and distracts us from our goal. It’s easy to make bad decisions when it comes to food because bad food is all around us, and always more readily available.
Our mission is to give our customers the feeling that the FOOD they eat will take them to great places. The idea is pretty simple, show that food served fast doesn't necessarily have to be the fast food experience. By using classic French cooking techniques with Mexican dishes and Caribbean flavors we are charting a new path for conscientious eating.
